Rebecca Whittington

Standing barely 5-ft in height, you'd be mistaken to overlook Rebecca Whittington within Australia's hairdressing and fashion industries. With scissors on hand and a fashion attitude that can't be ignored, this pocket-rocket brings energy and commitment to her craft with fun and flair.

Rebecca Whittington is the Creative Director of Adam & Eva, Brisbane- which opened in Brisbane's burgeoning social hub, Fortitude Valley. With links to her sister salons as close as Cairns and as far away as Norway, cutting edge professionalism and client satisfaction is synonymous with their approach to servicing their loyal clientele.

Since commencing in hairdressing nearly two decades ago, Rebecca hasn't worked a day in her life! Transitioning into hairdressing after business studies enabled her discipline to marry her passion. In her formative stages, Rebecca won IHS Apprentice of the Year (1997) and IHS Stylist of the year (1998).

After honing the craft in busy, forward thinking salons, she and Adam & Eva Brisbane were recognized with the Queensland Business Achiever's Award less than a year after their doors opened, reflecting her capacity to stay ahead of the rest and achieve 'the impossible'. Rebecca has also been awarded for her work in the L’Oreal Colour Trophy competition on a number of occasions as well as achieving positions as a state finalist for both the L’Oreal Stylist Awards 2008 and the Face of IHS 2010
